The quadrupeds of Sunderkand are very beautiful and ear-pleasing. These quatrains are taken from Sunderkand of Ramcharitmanas, which narrates the heroism of Shri Hanuman. These couplets of Sunderkand are very inspirational, they tell us that we should always follow the path of Dharma and Truth and always perform our duties.

This chapter of Sunderkand tells the story of Hanuman ji’s journey to Lanka and meeting his mother Sita. The courage, strength and devotion of Hanuman ji have been described in these chapters.

This chaupai of Sunderkand tells us that lust, anger, pride and greed are the four evils that lead us to hell. We should shun these evils and worship Lord Rama, who is also worshiped by saints (Satpurush).

Kama means the desire for sense pleasures. It leads us to material pleasures and induces us to commit sins. Krodha means anger or fierceness. It drives us to harm others. Mada means arrogance or pride. It leads us to hate others. Lobha means greed. It makes us crazy for money and possessions.

These four evils lead us to hell. We should leave these evils and worship Lord Rama. Lord Rama is a kind and compassionate God. He can free us from sins and grant us salvation. We should regularly pray, chant mantras and read Ramayana to worship Lord Rama. We should adopt the qualities of Lord Rama and treat others with kindness and compassion.

This line has been said by Vibhishan while addressing Ravana. Vibhishan ji says that Puranas and Vedas say that there are two intelligences in the heart of all human beings: Subuddhi and Kubuddhi. Subuddhi is the intelligence that prompts us to do good deeds, while Kubuddhi is the intelligence that prompts us to do bad deeds. Where there is wisdom, there is happiness and prosperity, and where there is bad wisdom, there is misery and calamity.

Vibhishan ji also says that we should use our intelligence properly. We should follow good sense and abandon evil mind. When we use our intelligence properly, we get happiness and prosperity in our life. But when we misuse our intelligence, we get misery and calamity in our life.
