Kabir’s teachings emphasized the importance of love, unity and brotherhood and rejected the idea of religious division. Kabir was known for his simple, direct and powerful couplets, intended to inspire people to achieve deeper spiritual understanding. Kabir’s couplets were written to be sung and sung by a group of musicians known as Kabir Panthis or Kabir’s Life Introduction class 11. Despite his popularity, Kabir faced criticism and persecution from both Hindu and Muslim communities for his unorthodox views.
